Rossmann – A mobile app for convenient shopping

Between 2016 and 2017, we developed a shopping application for Rossmann on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The features described here relate to that development period. The project included support for both online shopping and visits to physical stores.

Before shopping and in store

The application offered online shopping and the promotional leaflet. A location-based store finder helped users locate nearby shops, with route planning available. A barcode scanner supported access to product information. The features could therefore be useful both at home and while shopping.

Baby programme and multiple mobile platforms

Customers could also access their Rossmanó baby programme account and content through the app. Development covered three mobile platforms, bringing retail features and a customer programme into a mobile interface. This description of the historical application is not a feature list for the current Rossmann app.
